Liverpool POS Data

Liverpool is one of the largest chain of department stores in Mexico.  It also operates several duty free shops, and department stores under the Fabricas de Francia name.  The chain also runs specialized boutiques in shopping malls.   The chain started as The Cloth Case in 1847 by Jean Baptiste Ebrard, a Frenchman who started selling clothes in cases in Mexico City's downtown.  In 1872, he began importing merchandise from Europe with the majority coming from Liverpool, England - hence the name change to Liverpool.
