Lane Bryant POS Data
Lane Bryant is a United States retail women's clothing store chain focusing on plus-size clothing. The chain operates in 46 states (only Alaska, Hawaii, Montana and Wyoming do not have Lane Bryant stores). Lane Bryant was purchased in May 1982 by The Limited. Catalog operations were licensed to Brylane (now Redcats) in 1993, and in 1999 the retail operations were sold to Charming Shoppes for $335 million (US). Charming Shoppes regained the license for the catalog operations in late October 2007. Charming Shoppes is part of the Ascena Retail Group, Inc. which also owns the Justice, Maurices, Dressbarn and Catherines brands.
