Best Buy is the global leader in consumer electronics. Best Buy's consumer electronic sales accounts for 19% of that market. Best Buy has 1.6 billion visitors annually with 600 million shopping in-store and nearly 1 billion on-line and mobile. While many customers browse on-line prior to purchase, 80% of consumer electronics revenue is still sold in physical stores. Best Buy is a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticket symbol BBY. Best Buy spent some time developing the European and China markets, but all of those stores in both countries were closed for various reasons.
