Having an accurate, near real-time Demand Signal Repository (DSR) paired with powerful BI tools is the key to highlighting demand sensing and inventory optimization opportunities. Many mass retailers have been sharing POS data with their suppliers for over 20 years. As a result, Retail Velocity clients were early adopters in leveraging retailer POS data to reduce out-of-stocks and optimize sell-through.
